Introducing GE Energy's Field Force Automation Version 9.2, with a special focus on the new integration with MS InfoPath for powerful and effective data capturing in the field and covering lots of other new features like improved appointment booking, handling of lunch times, and a significantly updated user interface. This workshop will also touch on the "Business Language" configuration possibilities of the Field Force Automation optimizer and interface to FieldSmart products and will give a general introduction to Field Force Automation (i.e., provide a hands-on experience to demonstrate the ease of configuring the product and review use of a few product tools from an administrator, dispatcher, and field engineer perspective).

In this workshop, attendees will learn how to create and run smallworld "jobs" to perform scheduled batch processing of specific operations. This workshop will focus on creating and running FME related jobs. Although this workshop will concentrate on FME jobs, the lessons learned will allow one to create and run jobs for just about any Smallworld-related task (e.g., overnight merging and posting, plotting, and QA\QC).
