Attend this session to learn how Smallworld Physical Resource Assignment will achieve this and the benefits your business could realize through its deployment. 8:00 - 9:30 am Hands-On Workshop Managing your Workforce with GE Energy's Field Force Automation Version 9.2 Introducing GE Energy's Field Force Automation Version 9.2, with a special focus on the new integration with MS InfoPath for powerful and effective data capturing in the field and covering lots of other new features like improved appointment booking, handling of lunch times, and a significantly updated user interface. This workshop will also touch on the "Business Language" configuration possibilities of the Field Force Automation optimizer and interface to FieldSmart products and will give a general introduction to Field Force Automation (i.e., provide a hands-on experience to demonstrate the ease of configuring the product and review use of a few product tools from an administrator, dispatcher, and field engineer perspective). 9:45 - 12:00 pm Hands-On Workshop Configuring Field Based Inspections and Data Collection with FieldSmart Inspect and Collect Work and asset management, regulatory compliance, and data integrity present key operational challenges for utilities. This workshop will focus on creating and running FME related jobs. Although this workshop will concentrate on FME jobs, the lessons learned will allow one to create and run jobs for just about any Smallworld-related task (e.g., overnight merging and posting, plotting, and QA\QC). 3:15 - 5:15 pm Hands-On Workshop Smallworld GeoSpatial Server 4.2: Writing web services using latest GSS Features Smallworld GeoSpatial Server is the enabling platform for system integration and business process integration for Smallworld into the SOA-based enterprise. This workshop provides a technical overview of the GeoSpatial Server architecture with a hands-on opportunity to look at GeoSpatial Server Web Services and the new features of Smallworld GeoSpatial Server 4.2.
