The holidays may be "over", but the cheer doesn't have to stop. Just think of the many reasons to celebrate:

  • You don't have a massive project at work...DOUBLE WIN!


Whatever your reason to celebrate, you deserve to treat yourself to a Holiday Manhattan tonight!

One sip and the holiday spirit will come rushing back!


"Holiday Old Fashioned"



Ingredients:

  • Orange wedge

  • Ice

  • cranberries

  • Coarse Sugar for the rim

  • 2 oz Favorite Whiskey

  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters

  • 1 ounce Cranberry Simple Syrup*

  • Garnish with apple slices, cranberries and a sugar rim




Directions:

*Cranberry simple syrup:

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water, 1 cup of sugar, and one cup of fresh cranberries to a boil. Once boiling, cook 4-5 minutes. Stain with a mesh sieve. Cool before serving


Rim glass with sugar. Muddle cranberries in a glass. Add whiskey and cranberry simple syrup. Top with a dash of bitters and stir. Add ice. Garnish with orange peel and cranberries.
