"Holiday Old Fashioned"
Coarse Sugar for the rim
2 oz Favorite Whiskey
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
1 ounce Cranberry Simple Syrup*
Garnish with apple slices, cranberries and a sugar rim
*Cranberry simple syrup:
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water, 1 cup of sugar, and one cup of fresh cranberries to a boil. Once boiling, cook 4-5 minutes. Stain with a mesh sieve. Cool before serving
Rim glass with sugar. Muddle cranberries in a glass. Add whiskey and cranberry simple syrup. Top with a dash of bitters and stir. Add ice. Garnish with orange peel and cranberries.
